Enabling

Efficiency

We have a dangerous structures division which responds to any buildings where there is a danger to the public. Our framework agreement with our client requires us to respond on site within 2 hours.

Initially, assessments (Asbestos and Structural) are undertaken and then a plan put in place to make the buildings safe.

Railways serve as an essential link in the transportation network across the country. However, they require constant maintenance to ensure the safety and reliability of the system. Econ’s Reactive division provides timely solutions to any emergency scenarios that may arise. Econ Group’s Reactive division has a framework agreement with the Southern Region of Network Rail for environmental Services, this includes Waste & Fly Tipping, Drug Paraphernalia Removal, Graffiti Removal and Asbestos Removal.

Underground infrastructure is another critical area where reactive maintenance is key. Any downtime or service disruption in this sector could result in significant inconvenience to the public and interrupted service to businesses. With Econ Group's Framework Agreement with TFL and two-hour response time, clients can rest assured that any emergency will be managed with efficiency, minimising disruption to service, and ensuring continued functioning of the underground infrastructure.

We pride ourselves on a two-hour response time to emergencies for anywhere in London, Home Counties, or the South-East coast, which is one of the significant advantages of our reactive service. Additionally, our specialist plant, equipment, and vehicles allow us to tackle any situation that arises, irrespective of the scale or complexity.

Some of the services our Reactive division offers:

• Needle and sharps removal

• Waste and fly tipped rubbish clearance

• Spoil removal

• Fallen trees and branches

• Hazardous waste removal

• Asbestos Services

• Onsite reactive testing of products

• Water proofing products

• Dangerous structures assessments

• Dangerous structure removals

• Site Investigations

• Mobile Support Units for major incidents

• Consultation on reactive situations

Econ Group has always offered this service to core customers, but only over the last few years has this become ever more popular with taking brownfield sites and turning them into sites ready for future redevelopment.
Enabling Efficiency with a team on standby 24/7 means we can manage emergency scenarios promptly and efficiently. Our team’s ability to respond quickly (two-hour response time) to any situation ensures that clients can continue with their operations with minimal downtime.
