Econ Group, an enabling works specialist, exhibited at the 2025 NEC Contamination & Land Remediation Expo. A successful two days meeting a range of existing and potential clients.
A range of conversations took place, with a big hit being our Asbestos Removal division, being the only contractor exhibiting with the permits, licences and trained operatives to carry out Asbestos Removal in house. Catching the attention of many potential clients from all over the UK. With the Asbestos Removal being only one aspect of our services, many productive conversations followed on. We discussed our competences in Contaminated Land Remediation, how we are able to deploy our In-situ soil screening approach, which is a massive tick box in both the environmental and cost saving for sites with visible asbestos in the ground.
Documenting our truly unique approach and offerings we saw a great interest and are delighted to say we will be attending next year.
"It was a great time and a brilliant way to expose a large amount of potential clients to our offering." - Stephen Ralley, Commercial Manager.

Our Client is extremely pleased at the way we, supported by Econ, have dealt with the situation. From the moment you confirmed that notifiable asbestos was present, a focused, concerted effort has been made by Econ to deal with the problem. The client was impressed at the speed in which Econ tabled a strategic proposal to the HSE to remove the asbestos, working 24/7 non-stop, to expedite the removal. The fact that the proposal, including approval by the HSE, was achieved in such a short timescale is credit to Econ. The proactive approach, while being flexible and accommodating to allow key ECR staff to work in a safe, isolated contained area, has really impressed the Network Rail team.
