We’re proud to announce that Econ Group has been awarded the ARCA Gold Site Audit Award for the 2024/2025 period, a mark of distinction within the licensed asbestos removal industry.
This prestigious recognition is awarded to member companies who consistently demonstrate the highest standards of site performance, safety, and compliance. To qualify for the Gold Award, a company must achieve an average mark of over 90% across at least six unannounced site audits conducted by the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) within a 12-month period.
Achieving this status reflects the commitment of our site teams, supervisors, and management to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality asbestos removal works across all sectors — including critical infrastructure, rail, and industrial projects.
“Receiving the Gold Award from ARCA is a testament to the professionalism and attention to detail our teams bring to every site. It reinforces our reputation as a trusted, competent partner in high-risk environments.” - Liam Moore, General Manager
Whether working in live substations, rail environments, or occupied commercial buildings, we remain focused on setting the benchmark for health & safety, environmental compliance, and operational excellence.
We’d like to thank our dedicated site staff and management teams who made this possible — your hard work and consistency are what sets Econ apart.

This award is not just about paperwork - it’s about how a company performs on real sites, under real pressures, and often in live or high-risk environments.
Our Client is extremely pleased at the way we, supported by Econ, have dealt with the situation. From the moment you confirmed that notifiable asbestos was present, a focused, concerted effort has been made by Econ to deal with the problem. The client was impressed at the speed in which Econ tabled a strategic proposal to the HSE to remove the asbestos, working 24/7 non-stop, to expedite the removal. The fact that the proposal, including approval by the HSE, was achieved in such a short timescale is credit to Econ. The proactive approach, while being flexible and accommodating to allow key ECR staff to work in a safe, isolated contained area, has really impressed the Network Rail team.
